Dirty Dozen went head to head against Super Daddy CC at SKBZ cricket ground this past Saturday. Batting first Dirty Dozen were off to a rocky start with both openers Abid and Umer being dismissed cheaply. One down Umar Ghazi then partner with Mustafa Malik to try and salvage the innings with knocks of 26 and 35 respectively but Super Daddys bowlers were on fire! Shehzad Meher lead the attack with 2 wickets while the rest of the unit chipped in, giving nothing away. Adnan Amjad, Ali Mufti, Saad Khalid, Omer Shahid and Shahram Rasool were key in picking up a wicket each. Dozen's batting line up was helpless against the opposition and were restricted to 108 in 22 overs.
With a low total to chase, Super Daddys went in with intent but lost opener Yasser Mufti early on for just 8 runs. However his partner Rehan Shaikh was in sublime form with a half century knock of 53 which included 8 boundaries and 1 six. There was little for the subsequent batsmen to do after that and Shahram's 9 and Ali Mufti's 12 took their side home in 17 overs.
Super Daddy CC won by 8 wickets.
