Hascol v KPS
KPS batted first and lost opener Hayatullah for just 6 runs. Rehan Khan and Junaid Fazal then stepped in with fantastic knocks to propel their side. Rehan was in sublime form with his 67 run innings at an astounding strike rate of 372 including 8 boundaries and 5 sixes. Junaid followed suit with 77 including 9 fours and 4 sixes. Hascol bowlers were helpless against the opposition unable to pick wickets when needed. Zameer Sher's surge of 43 propelled KPS to 228 for 5 in 20 overs. Hascol bowlers Jazib and Saad took 2 wickets each.
Hascol had a big target to chase and required an extraordinary innings. Opener Ameer lost his wicket for just 8 runs but one down Ozema provided some relief. His scintillating knock of 64 included 4 boundaries and 4 sixes but he received little support on the other end. With the exception of Saad's 22, the team were simply not able to match up to the required run rate and fell considerably short ending at 109 for 3 in 17 overs.
KPS won the match by 145 runs.
