KPSIAJ FSC came to bat first & were off to a decent start as their openers gave them a good start but once the bowlers managed to get rid of both the openers the batting lineup collapsed. Bowlers dominated throughout the innings & batsmen never found their footings. Ali Zain played a hard fought innings of 61 run but couldn’t find support from the other end. Muhammad Anas Waheed picked up 3 crucial wickets not allowing the batsmen to run away with the game. KPSIAJ managed to make 143 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs.
Renegades CC came in to chase this total of 145 runs & were off to a flying start as their openers had a partnership of 50+ & were cruising towards victory. Once the openers were dismissed the bowlers started to make a comeback as they picked up 2 more wickets in quick succession but the batsmen had other plans. Abdul Rafay who scored 35 runs had a partnership with Mubeen Ali who scored 27 runs & stayed there till the end ensuring his team the victory. Ahmed Asif also played his part in this chase as he scored fiery 33 runs at the top. Raza Khan, Kazim Kanani & Sagheer Abbas picked up a wicket each but it was too little too late
