Rida Sports were the clear victors of the match against Shan XI played at the RLCA Gulberg, as they beat their opponents by 26 runs.
Jumping back from a slow start they quickly racked up runs as Saif Ur Rehman made 46 from 47, Hamza Qadir made 24 from 12 and Rao Khayyam made 26 from 14. With added 19 extras they made 157 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Talha Ghayas, Shafiq and Fahad Ali took two wickets each for Shan XI.
In contrast, Shan seemed to be doing well as Rana Shafaqat made 28 from 24 and Kamran Ibrahim made 22 from 16 and Zeeshan Haider made 22 from 22. They were only able to rack up 131 in 18.1 overs before being all out. Hamza Qadir was the star bowler for Rida Sports as he took an impressive four wickets. M Shahzad followed suit by taking two wickets and Rao Khayyam and Afroz Hassan took one wicket each.
