Royal Stars batted first against Arpa Tec in a friendly match which turned out to be a one sided match. Opener Khizar Azam gave a dazzling start to his team and laid the foundation of victory. He scored 77 runs. Shaheer and Muqaddam’s 31 and 29 further drove their side towards a big total. A cameo by Anas Uddin from the lower middle order of 20 runs with a whopping strike rate of 333 additionally helped Royal Stars to set a humongous total of 220 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. The bowlers of Arpa Tec also had some issues with their line as bowled a total number of 24 wides.
To keep up with the required pace, Arpa Tec batsmen tried to play some fast cricket but only lost their wickets in doing so. Except for Sajid’s 37 runs, nobody tried to get themselves into the competition. Royal Stars bowlers kept a tight bowling and bowled the opponents out for just 133 runs in 17 overs. Sohail and Faizan were outstanding with the ball and claimed 2 wickets each.
