In a friendly match played at the Al Mansoora Ground, Royal Stars faced Amin XI and dominated throughout the match.
Batting first, Royal Stars were off to a cautious start, losing their top 3 batsmen cheaply. However, the middle order consisting of Fawad and Waseem played brilliantly to guide the Stars to a competitive total of 145 runs. Fawad's 51 runs in 34 balls, included 6 boundaries while Waseem contributed 45 runs in 31 balls, with 4 fours and a six. For Amin XI, Shahrukh, Moin Lawai and Basit took a wicket each, conceding 22, 25 and 18 runs respectively.
Amin XI, started their chase confidently with Basit scoring a run a ball 29, with just 2 boundaries in his innings. However, Royal Stars were fantastic with the ball and in the field, taking quick wickets to ensure that Amin XI do not even manage a sniff at victory. Ansub and Saad Faisal were the pick of the bowlers, taking 2 wickets each for 15 and 16 runs respectively. Amin XI could only manage 109 runs before being dismissed.
