Ghulam Farooq Cricket Club (GFCC) v Saakh Group
GFCC batted first but lost their top 3 batsmen to a fantastic display of bowling by Shoaib Akther who claimed all 3. The team had a disastrous day out with none of the batsmen able to keep their wickets intact! Asad and Saif were the only pair to show some resistance with cameos of 22 and 26 respectively. Saakh bowlers kept things tight with M.Azeem also taking 3 wickets and Asif picking up 2 for his side. GFCC ended at 156 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response Saakh had a very smooth run with opening pair Shoaib and Asif contributing 33 and 42 respectively. After Zain claimed their wickets, Maqbool Shah smashed an impressive 58 at a strike rate of 207 to comfortably see his side over the line in 15.2 overs.
Saakh Group won by 8 wickets.
