Wintex Strikers and Rims Lions played at Moin Khan cricket stadium as part of the Memon Super League season 2. Wintex batted first and Faisal Butt with 46 runs and Adeel Abbasi with 18 runs got them off to a good start but subsequently only Ghazanfar Richie managed 15 runs and Usman Yunus Ghani knocked 25 runs as Wintex squandered a good opening start and ended at 142 for 8 in 20 overs. For Lions, Hammad Sheikhani took 2 wickets while Adnan, Osama, Waqar and Farhan got a wicket each.
In reply, Rims Lions were reduced to 33 for 5 as Waqar, Ahmed, Adeel, Muzammil and Adnan were all out cheaply. With 102 required in the last 10 overs, Shahryar Ghani took charge as he hit an unbeaten 64 runs off 55 deliveries while Farhan Arif batted exquisitely to get 57 runs off 34 balls in an unbeaten knock at a strike rate of 168% to ensure that Lions won with 2 balls to spare. For Strikers, Kamran and Imran Idrees got 2 wickets each while Saad Dawood took a wicket.
Rims Lions won by 5 wickets.
