Southend Panthers Vs Synergy Group
Southend Panthers were off to a brilliant start as they batted first against the Synergy Group in the first innings of the match. Furrukh and Jafar Qureshi were the opening batsmen from their side, and they played quite an innings. Furrukh scored 38 runs off 24 balls and Jafar Qureshi scored 62 runs off 30 balls. Both of the players were doing great until they got some kind of medical injury and had to sit this one down. Mohsin Lakho and Asfand Younus carried a very strong 46 runs partnership until the innings ended. No wickets were taken but a total of 28 extras were given in the first innings. Southend Panthers scored a total of 174 runs in 15 overs.
Synergy Group were off to a very slow start in the second innings with their opening pair. Ahmed Kapadia and Abdul Razak went down after scoring a total of 21 runs. Nasir Hanif was the only batsmen to score 21 runs for his side and rest of the batting order was brutally dismantled. Asif Afridi and Waqar were the two bowlers who were a living nightmare for the batting side and they destroyed all those who came in their path. Waqar picked up 4 wickets and Asif Afridi picked up 3 wickets. The entire batting line up was bowled out at a total of 94 runs.
