Another thrilling contest between two arch rivals, Karachi Patriots and Karachi Stallions was held at New Navy Karsaz Cricket Ground. Patriots batted first and lost Faraz Ahmed early after he had scored just 7 runs.  Fahad Jabbar Memon and Haris Altaf then had a 33 run partnership before Fahad was out after having scored 28 runs. Ahmed Usama got 24 runs while Haris Altaf got 18 runs but a 82 run partnership between Faisal Butt and Tayyab R Balagamwala ensured Patriots ended at a competitive 169 for 4 in 20 overs. Faisal Butt got a quick fire 51 off just 24 balls at an impressive strike rate of 213% while Tayyab got 28 not out. For Stallions, Shahzad Niaz, Usman Yunus Ghani and Shahzad Anwar Arain (Gullu) got a wicket each.

In reply, Stallions had a bad start as they lost master blaster Adnan Salim for just 14 runs and Owais Ahmed followed suit after scoring just 4 runs. Zohaib and Shahzad Arain combined in a 43 run partnership. After Shahzad's dismissal, Zohaib and Ahmed Kapadia combined in a 81 run partnership. Zohaib got 79 runs off 50 balls which included 6 boundaries as well as four sixes while Ahmed Kapadia got 26 runs. With 9 runs an over needed in the last 3 overs, Usman Yunus Ghani displayed his magical touch and hit 20 not out off just 8 balls at a strike rate of 250% and his knock included three huge sixes. Stallions won with 5 balls to spare. For Patriots, Ansar Bhesania got 3 wickets while Afzal Gigi and Murtaza got a wicket each
