Strikers CC met Alliance Sports in 13th Challengers Cup Quarter Final at NBP.
Batting first in the knockout stage Strikers CC posted a steep target of 195 for Alliance in 20 overs. After losing two early wickets Saad Shah's 89 of 62 balls and Yasir Tanveer 53 of 36 was the highlight of the innings, both scoring at a strike rate of 140+ which blew away the oppositions bowling attack.
Alliance Sports batting looked jittery in the chase as the wickets fell on regular intervals from one end as the other end was secured by Asad who scored an explosive fifty at a strike rate of 196 but that wasn't enough and they lost the match by 56 runs. Abdullah grasped 4 wickets.
