Zamzam Sports batted first and were off to a terrible start as they lost both their openers without much contributions from them at the top. It was a tough start for Zamzam Sports but Kamran and Tahami helped them recover a bit. Kamran scored 28 off 29 balls whereas Tahami scored 17 off 21 balls. They could not bat deep into the innings and got out just when they were looking good. After them, Abdul Shakoor and Bakht Gul carried the momentum and score forward and played some lovely shots during their partnership. Abdul Shakoor scored 29 off 24 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes whereas Bakht Gul scored 37 off 19 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Waqar and Nadeem picked up 2 wickets each for Strikers CC and in the end, Zamzam scored just a 136 in their 20 overs.
It was a modest target and with an unbelievable start, it became much easier for Strikers CC. The openers for Strikers CC were in striking form and were hitting the ball sweetly and made the bowlers work hard for their wickets. Saad Shah and Shahrukh Asim smashed the bowlers all around the park and were in great hitting form. Saad scored 51 off 39 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 130 whereas his partner was even better as Shahrukh smashed 71 off just 50 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 142. The two almost batted throughout the chase but it was not the case but they did their job and final shots were played by Waqas who scored 16 off 9 and carried his side over the line in 16.5 overs.
