Suleman Stallions Win Vanthali Premier League

Suleman Textile Stallions batted first against Classic Steelbacks at the all important final of the Vanthali Premier League! Opener Rab Nawaz however was out for duck and the team lost Taha and Abdul Moiz cheaply as well. Rameez Mehboob and Muzammil Chaipi then stepped up to lead the charge saving their side with sensational half centuries. Rameez knocked 51 off 32 while Muzammil scored 53 off 38 balls. Shehzad Suleman also chipped in with 26 as Suleman Textile Stallions ended at 160 for 6 in 20 overs. Steelbacks did well to stay in the game, picking up quick wickets early on. Naveed Rangoonia, Shahid Nepal and Daniyal Shoaib took 2 wickets each.

In response, Classic Steelbacks struggled in the chase after losing Naveed Rangoonia for just 8 runs. His partner Muzammil Mehboob fought hard to keep his team's chances alive in the chase, scoring a fiery 43 runs. The rest of the side however simply fell apart, losing wickets consistently, unable to build a partnership and get going at any stage. Kashif Aziz was the pick of the bowlers for his side with 3 wickets while Taha, Salman and Abdul Aziz picked up a wicket each. Classic Steelbacks were eventually restricted to 131 for 7 in 20 overs.

Suleman Textile Stallions won by 29 runs and were crowned champions!
