Sumya Bantva Gladiators were off to a shaky start as they lost early wickets. Habib Shoaib took the team out of crisis scoring 41 runs. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t spend much time at the crease as bowlers kept picking up wickets regularly. Umer Khanani came in at the back end & played a cameo of 43 runs off just 21 deliveries before Sumya Bantva Gladiators was bowled out for 157 runs. Saad Dawood lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets & found good support from Waqas Suriya, Arsalan Amin & Awais Maskatia who picked up 2 wickets each.
Dhoraji Kings were off to a flying start as their openers gave them a solid start with Arsalan Amin scoring 31 runs & Usman Naviwala scoring 35. Hasnain Deriwala also managed to score 22 runs but the batsmen took the target too lightly. The bowlers then made their comeback picking up wickets in quick successions. Muhammad Muavia upped the anti scoring 24 runs off 18 deliveries but he was left with too much & couldn’t take his team over the line. Moin Kodvavi & Mujtaba Raza picked up 2 wickets each not allowing the batsmen to get into the game.
