Sumya Builders & Developers and T&M Warriors went against each other in the final of MYL on 25th August.
Uzair Parekh opened the innings with Haris Altaf for Sumya Builders. However, Parekh got out on a duck on Mubeen Dhedhi’s ball. Saad Asif, the one-down batsman, smashed 44 runs off 36 and stabilized the innings. In addition to this, Idrees Amin scored 47 at a strike rate of 146.88. The bowlers displayed a mediocre bowling effort and dismissed 4 only. As a result, Sumya Builders scored 147 runs.
Warriors’ openers Younus Tai and M Alam Bhimani started the chase. However, both got out on fewer runs. The batting efforts remained mediocre throughout. Abdur Rehman was the highest scorer with only 25 runs. The bowlers dominated and dismissed 7 batsmen. Taha Arsalan and Mujtaba Raza bagged 2 wickets each. In addition to this, the remaining four bowlers bagged 1 wicket each.
As a result, Sumya won the match by 17 runs.
