Super Daddy CC v Butt Brothers CC
Super Daddy CC batted first with opener Rehan Shaikh leading from the front. He top scored for his side with a scintillating knock of 50 runs which included 6 boundaries and 1 maximum. He however lost partners on the other end as the Daddy's batsmen lost wickets in regular intervals, unable to contribute much with the bat. Adeel Mansha then stepped in to stabilize the innings with a valuable knock of 27 runs. None of the other batsmen were able to keep their wickets intact with Butt Brothers bowlers doing well to pick wickets at key times and stop the flow of runs. Saad in particular was outstanding with the ball, picking up 4 wickets, while Abid Aslam and Zeeshan picked up 2 wickets each. Super Daddy CC set a target of 172 runs in 22 overs.
In response, Butt Brothers were off to a disastrous start after losing Sulaiman Aijaz for duck. Saad, Malik and Abid Aslam were the only batsmen to show some resistance against a brutal bowling attack with cameos in their twenties. Daddy's bowlers were in form and on fire with Ali Mufti leading the attack, picking up 3 wickets for his side. The rest of the bowlers also chipped in to pick up a wicket and limited Butt Brothers to 139 runs in 22 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Super Daddy CC won by 42 runs.
