Suriya Fighters went against Zee Storm on 21st August.
The first innings started by the Habib Shoaib and Mudassir Suriya, smashing 33 and 53 runs respectively. Rehman Suriya played a crucial knock of 42 runs. The bowling power dismissed 4 batsmen successfully halting the momentum of MAA Construction. Hence, MAA Construction posted a total of 178 runs. Zee Storm’s bowlers were able to bag only 3 wickets in total.
During the second innings Saeed Aftab and Aziz Ahmed opened the innings and got out on lower runs. The batting line up was sloppy and unstable in the middle. However, Haroon Shahid and Qasim Afridi scored runs in 30s each. Sadiq Suriya successfully bagged 2 wickets.
As a result, Fighters defended their total and won the match by 2 runs.
