Rebels CC batted first and were off to a reasonable start with their openers playing some elegant strokes at the top order and maintained a good run rate. Ghazanfer Baloch in particular was in threatening form as he struck the ball sweetly and played some quality shots during his blitz of 49 which came off just 26 balls including 4 monstrous sixes and 3 beautiful fours. He was supported by Raza who scored just 11 but rotated the strike frequently. Once they were sent back to the pavilion, the next pair of Muhammad Waseem and Zohaib Khan continued from where their partners left and propelled the score forward. Waseem scored 33 whereas Zohaib scored 245 off 18 balls. Rehaan and Farhaan made sure to end the innings on a high with quick little cameos of 23 and 12 respectivley. On the other hand, Azhar Shah was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4 wickets in his 4 over spell. Rebels managed to post 168 in their allotted 20 overs.
The chase was a big one and it wanted a demanding innings from someone to get them near to it. But Tanishq Gold had the believe in them and they were on track from the word go. The pair of Gul Muhammad and Fahad Jabbar were in form of their lives as they batted with supreme control and smashed the bowlers all around the park during their marathon knocks. Gul Muhammad was in damaging mood as he struck 51 off just 21 balls with 5 mighty sixes and 3 fours whereas Fahad was not far behind as he scored 51 off 40 balls with 6 fours. The partnership put Tanishq Gold on track and the next pair Naimat and Ghani played little cameos of 28 each to take their side over the line. In the end, Tanishq Gold comfortably got over the line in just 18.1 overs.
