KPS batted first against Revolution Star at Naya Nazimabad this past Sunday. KPS were off to a disastrous start after losing opener Hayatullah for duck. However his partner Rehan Khan lead from the front with an impressive knock of 48 runs. Waqas Khan also knocked a cameo of 16 but it was S M Zafar's 49 that kept the team's momentum going. None of the lower order batsmen however were able to capitalize on the foundation set and they were restricted to 142. Arbaz and Umer Pawa took 2 wickets each while Amjad, Zain and Anees picked up a wicket.
Revolution Star stood no chance in their chase with Tauheed Khan ripping the chasing side apart. In what has to be one of the best spells KheloKricket has ever witnessed, Tauheed Khan took 7 wickets in his spell. Revolution Star had 6 ducks on their scoreboard with the side reeling throughout the innings. The joint highest score was by Sohail and Amjad who scored 10 each. Revolution Star were decimated for just 55 in 10 overs. Sajid Ali also picked up 2 wickets alongside Rehman Shani who took 1 wicket.
KPS won by 87 runs.
