OGS v Bubbers
Ogs played against Bubbers as part of the 2nd ACM Gold t20 Night League at Moin Khan Cricket Stadium. Bubbers won the toss and decided to field first. Openers Tayyab R Balagamwala and Wamiq had a good opening partnership of 63 runs before Wamiq was out for just 17 runs. Thereafter, a 107 run partnership between Tayyab and Arshid ensued before Arshid was out after having scored 25 runs. Tayyab continued to score at a fast pace and eventually reached his century in an exciting knock of 106 runs off 64 deliveries at a strike rate of 165%. His innings included 13 boundaries and 3 sixes. Once he was out, Talha Fahim continued his good form from last match and hit 34 runs not out off just 17 balls which include 2 boundaries and three sixes. OGS ended their innings at a huge score of 234 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. For Bubbers, Yasir picked up 3 wickets while Zohaib and Asad Jafri took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Bubbers lost their main striker Shamas early and Waqas and Zohaib followed suit soon after. Ali Sohail with 23, Atif bawany with 31, Rohail with 22 and Asad Jafri with 27 runs put up some resistance but the asking rate continued to climb and In the end Bubbers ended at a 138 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. For OGS, Waseem took 2 wickets while Talha, Ahsan, Zubair and Burhan picked up a wicket each.
OGS won by 96 runs.
