Team NSL came in to bat first & were off to a decent start. They managed to lose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a healthy rate. Farrukh Shahid scored 31 off 25. Hur Abbas chipped in with his 20 off 18. Sher Muhammad & Sibtain Raza then put up a partnership of 50+ runs. Sher Muhammad scored 34 runs off just 23 deliveries. Sibtain Raza scored 39 runs off 22 deliveries. Khalid Ali Khan came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 22 runs off just 10 deliveries. Muhammad Taha, Obaid Siddiqui, Umer Noor & Maqbool Zaidi managed to pickup a wicket each. Team NSL posted a total of 183 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Adamjee Life Assurance came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start. They also managed to loose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a healthy rate. Mujahid Siddiqui played a solid knock of 33 runs off 29 deliveries. Uzair Zubair managed to score 19 runs off 11 deliveries. The bowlers then started to dominate the batsmen as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order completely collapsed. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. The batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths. Kamran UZ Zaman lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Je found good support from Muhammad Irfan & Naeem Hanif who picked up a couple of wickets each. Adamjee Life Assurance managed to score 136 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
