TNN Titans batted first against Terry World Tigers in an exciting match of Legends Cup. The openers gave a dazzling start to their team as Fahad Jabbar played a staggering knock of 87 runs along with Sabih Merchant who assisted him with his 45 runs. Owais Pasta’s 30 runs from middle order further propelled Titans towards a good score and they summed up to 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Tigers bowlers did not excel their job as they leaked runs. Shahzaib Ahmed was the highest wickets taker among them claiming 3 wickets.
Terry World Tigers tried to keep up with the required pace from the beginning of their innings but very soon they lost their opener Kamil. Talha Ahmedani and one-down Hammad Sheikhani then handled the situation and played a momentous innings of 45 and 44 runs respectively. Talha was on fire and played with a wondrous strike rate of 196. The batting team then continued to lose wickets in regular intervals but Shehzad Suleman’s 25 runs and Anas Mohiuddin’s quick 18 runs drove Tigers towards the victory as they chased the target on the very last delivery. The bowlers of TNN Titans failed to do their job and remained unsuccessful in saving their batsmen’s hardwork. Idrees amin was the highest wicket taker from Titans bagging 3 wickets.
