TNN Titans v Rims Lions
TNN Titans faced Rims Lions as part of the 6th Memon Premier League. Titans batted first with opener Shakir Serang being dismissed for just 1 run. However Sabih, Shaaz and Owais put up an all round strong performance with cameos in their twenties. Bilal was the most notable contributor for his side with an impressive knock of 40 runs. Lions bowers were lethal with the ball with Idrees Amin in particular picking up 4 wickets to rip through the opposition. Asad Wahid joined in to cause further damage with his 3 wickets and despite TNN Titans being a very strong team, they crumbled to 132 for 9 in 20 overs.
However it wasn't over just yet! Rim Lions openers lost their wickets early on for just 8 runs and the Titans were back in it. Asad Wahid put up some resistance with his knock of 24 but it was Adeel Iqbal who showed real intent. His knock of 52 included 2 boundaries and 3 sixes but was in vain as he received no support on the other end. 8 of the batsmen were out in single digits and Rims Lions were all out for a meager 115 in 18.3 overs. Yousuf Jetpur starred with the ball picking up 4 wickets and Hunain and Samad Ghani took 2 wickets each.
TNN Titans won by 17 runs.
