TNN Titans v Karachi Club
Defending champions TNN Titans faced Karachi Club at Moin Khan Cricket Stadium as part of the 2nd ACM Gold t20 Night League match. Karachi Club won the toss and decided to field first. TNN Titans openers Bilal Umer and Yasir Tanveer had a quick 114 run partnership before Bilal Umer was out after having scored 53 runs off 29 balls at a strike rate of 183%. Yasir Tanveer continued scoring runs at a good pace and was eventually out after having scored 78 runs off 51 balls at a strike rate of 153%. Rabish Ahmed followed it up with an extraordinary knock of 42 runs not out off just 18 balls at a strike rate of 233% while Kamran Butt got 29 quick runs off just 15 balls. TNN Titans ended at a large score of 215 runs for loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. For Karachi Club, Adeel Abbasi, Rizwan Diwan and Salman Rafiq Dossani got a wicket each while there was one run out. Karachi Club bowling was not up to mark and most of the bowlers conceded more than 10 runs an over.
In reply, Karachi Club put up a dismal show while batting and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Only Rameez Mehboob with 30 runs and Aamir Motiwala with 29 runs put up a resistance while most of the other batsmen succumbed cheaply in the face of some good line and length bowling by TNN Titans bowlers. Karachi Club were all out for just 120 runs in 17.1 overs. For Titans, Kamran Butt was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for just 16 runs while Hunain, Khalid and Idrees got 2 wickets each and Imran Idrees got a wicket.
TNN Titans won by 95 runs.
