TNP Titans batted first against Trail Blazers at the all important final of the Legends Cup! Talha Ahmedani lost his footing and was out for duck but the team continued to contribute cameos to keep the scoreboard ticking. Ahmed Hussain knocked 18 runs while Ameer Raza Khan and Afnan Karim lead the recovery scoring a valuable 26 and 33 runs respectively. Rabish Ahmed and Owais Pasta then upped the ante with blistering knocks of 60 and 44 not out to boost TNP Titans to a mammoth 212 for 5 in 20 overs. Trail Blazers bowlers started off well but lost their way, going for plenty in the death overs. Ubaid Umer was the key wicket taker for their side with 2 scalps.
In response, Trail Blazers always had scoreboard pressure on them. Opener Shehzad however was dismissed on the very first ball of the innings for duck. The team then struggled after that, losing a flurry of quick wickets. Adeel Khan and Anas Ahmed fought back with 40 and 55 runs respectively but Titans bowlers continued to pick wickets. Hammad Sheikhani also chipped in with a valiant 23 off 13 but the target was simply too much to chase. Trail Blazers were bowled out for 186 in 19.5 overs. Khalid Kaka who has been in fine form this tournament was sensational in his spell, picking up 4 wickets while Saqib Khan and Osama Ayub picked up a couple each.
TNP Titans won by 26 runs and are champions of the Legends Cup.
