The 1st Big Bash Ramadan League came to an end with Bilal Associates and Umer Enterprises going head to head at the final.
Batting first, Bilal Associates were absolutely outdone by a fantastic bowling attack from Umer Enterprises unit. Openers Ahmed Hussain and Babar Hussain knocked 15 and 10 runs respectively before a complete collapse occurred. Gullzaman Chaudary was in form and on fire with 3 wickets that ripped through the line up. Ali Maher and Mohib Ahsan also chipped in with 2 wickets each and despite Ali Iqbal's attempt to fight back with 16, they were bowled out for a very low 84 in 17.2 overs.
In response, it was always going to be an easy chase with Haider Bangash taking charge with 42 not out to guide his side to victory. Ali Raza also chipped in with 18 and despite a valiant effort by Arif Yaqoob picking up 3 wickets, the total was simply undefendable.
Umer Enterprises won by 6 wickets and have won the tournament!
