Vital Group Vs Zahid XI
Vital Group batted first and were off to an awesome start with the bat. Openers Obaid Rabnawaz and Inam Ullah made a very strong impact on the game since the beginning with their outstanding performance. Obaid scored a wonderful 56 runs just off 27 balls with a strike rate of 207. His knock included 7 majestic boundaries and 2 massive sixes. Inam ullah scored 26 runs but was taken down by Ahmed who was also on top of his game and later on picked up another wicket in the match. Hamza Ahmed scored 15 runs which were a decent addition to the scorecard. Rest of the batting order couldn’t do much with the bat because the bowling attack was too much for them to handle. Zohair became the leading wicket taker with 3 wickets to his name. By the end of 20 overs, Zahid XI had scored a total of 157 runs.
Zahid XI were off to a relatively slow start knowing the fact that they did very well with the ball in the first innings. The openers somehow lacked precision and weren’t able to give their team a decent start. Zahid scored 17 runs and Umair scored 26 runs. These were decent runs but not quite what they were looking for. Obaid came in at number 3 and scored 10 runs. The bowling side was brutal with their tactics and performance. The batting side never knew what hit them and it was a matter of time before they realized that they had lost 9 wickets. Umer and Imran Ali were on top of their game and both of them picked up 4 and 2 wickets each respectively. At the end of 20 overs Zahid Xi were restricted to a total of 136 runs.
Vital Group won by 21 runs.
