Bantva Lions batted first against Jetpur Strikers at the highly anticipated Memon Cricket League (MCL) final and completely dominated the opposition. Openers Fahad Jabbar and Bilal Omer got their team off to a roaring start with knocks of 70 and 60 at the top. With the foundation set, a minor cameo of 21 by Umair Yousuf boosted Bantva Lions to a very competitive 176 for 5 in 20 overs. Strikers bowlers were unable to break the early partnership with Owais Arif proving to be the key bowler for their side with 2 wickets.
In response, Jetpur Strikers were absolutely ripped apart by the Lions bowlers. Their top order was dismissed cheaply with 7 of their batsmen being put away in single digits. Owais Arif once again seemed to be the only player with any intent for his side with a fighting 31 not out but couldn't seem to find a partner to provide him with any support. Umair Yousuf was outstanding in his spell picking up 4 wickets with Ubaid Umer chipping in with a couple. Jetpur Strikers were bowled out for 96 runs in 15.1 overs.
Once again, Bantva Lions proved their dominance, winning the Memon Cricket League by 80 runs. They remain unbeaten in the league.
