Perceptions v Southend Youth
Perceptions played South End Youth at South End club ground. Perceptions batted first and lost Fahad Jabbar after he had scored 29 runs. Ali Maher however continued to score freely and got 59 runs off just 38 balls while Mazhar Husain got 33 not out off just 22 balls. The star of the batting line up was Rabish Ahmed who got 76 runs off just 30 balls in a blistering knock at a strike rate of 253%. Perceptions ended at a huge score of 220 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Noor and A Rehman took 1 wicket each and there was one run out.
In reply, Afnan Karim started the innings off well with his knock of 39 runs along with Maqbool who scored 29. The team however struggled with the bat with Haseeb being the last batsman to score in double figures with his knock of 14 runs. South End Youth were all out for just 103 runs. Adnan Akhtar ripped through the South End Youth batting line up with a spell of 5 wickets for just 1 run while Waqar got 2 wickets and Ali Jasim, Umer Farooq and Fahad Jabbar took 1 wicket each.
Perceptions won by 117 runs.
