Unity XI win by 35 runs

Unity XI Vs Khas

Khas n Viper Super League

Unity XI batted first and lost their openers quickly. It was not the best of starts for Unity XI. But after the openers, Bilal Iqbal and Bilal Amin got together and tried to bring some stability back in the innings with their useful partnership. Bilal Iqbal scored 31 off 28 balls whereas Bilal Amin scored 50 off just 40 balls with 6 fours and 1 four. If Bilal Iqbal and Bilal Amin helped Unity XI recover from the early trouble then the innings from Ali Iqbal was the cherry on the top, he smashed the bowlers in the later stages of the innings and scored a brilliant 50 off just 25 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. He was supported by Hassan Ahmed who scored 15 off 10 balls. In the end, Unity XI posted a very good 175 in their 20 overs.

Khas needed a good start to kick start things for them during the run chase. Both openers, Hassan Sohail and Khurram Mazhar scored 20 each but just when they were looking threatening they were sent back to the pavilion and it was a big setback for Khas. Yasir and Adnan tried to fight in the middle and scored 16 and 30 respectively but just like the openers they too wasted their starts and threw away their wickets at a crucial stage of the game. At that point, Khas lost their way and wickets fell in a heap, Ali Amir and Ali Nasir picked up 2 wickets each and were the major contributors with the ball. In the end, Khas only managed to score 140 in their 20 overs. Khas lost by 35 runs.
