Viper XI v Nazimabad Kings
Nazimabad Kings batted first and struggled throughout the innings. The team lost wickets in regular intervals, unable to keep the momentum in their favor or the scoreboard ticking. Viper XI bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking up wickets at key times to stop the flow of runs. Usama Naseer and Zafar were the pick of the lot, taking 2 wickets each. Soban Syed was the only batsman to show some resistance with an impressive half century knock that helped propel his team to a respectable total. Nazimabad Kings set a target of 170 runs.
Viper XI were off to rocky start in the chase with openers Jawad and Waqas losing their wickets early on the innings. The team recovered quickly though and the duo of Osama (47) and Zafar (49) ensured a comfortable victory for their side. Kings bowlers were helpless against the opposition, unable to pick wickets at key times. Zahid, Adeeb and Rashid picked up a wicket each. Viper XI chased down the target in 15.5 overs.
