Vanthali Memon Association batted first and were off to a rocky start losing opener Aamir Majeed for just 1 run. The team struggled throughout the innings with only minor contributions, unable to really score runs with the bat and keep the momentum going. Shahid Nepal and Salman Dossani were lethal with the ball, picking up 3 wickets each to dismantle the opposition. Farrukh Rangoonia was the only batsman to show some resistance against the bowling attack with a fighting knock of 29 runs. Vanthali Memon Association were restricted to a modest total of 115 runs in 20 overs.
VMA were off to a decent start in their chase with both openers Raheel (31) and Kamil (17) scoring valuable runs with the bat. Naveed Nadga did well to dismiss the pair before Umair Yousuf and Ali Bantwa took over the innings contributing 19 and 28 runs respectively. Ibrahim Farooq also picked up 2 wickets but it wasn't enough to defend his team's total. VMA comfortably chased down the target in 17 overs.
