VMA vs FA Sports at Al Mansoora Cricket Ground
Tough batting conditions this weekend at Al Mansoor Cricket Ground where two evenly matched teams faced off.
VMA batting first never really took the game away losing wickets at regular intervals. Their innings did gain some momentum towards the latter part with Naveed Nagda (37) providing some stability with support from Abdur Rehman (23*) and Kumail Habib (25) helping them post 136/8 in 20 overs.
VMA's bowlers knowing they would have to bowl a tight line to have a chance started perfectly by getting rid of both openers for duck. Only Azam Ali got going scoring a quickfire 42 threatening to take the game away. In the end Hamza Kiddi's spell of 4-16 was just too good for the FA Sports line up falling 22 runs short.
