Bilal Associates beat Frontier Gymkhana by 4 wickets to win the Karachi Masters League.
Frontier Gymkhana batted first at the all important final and were outdone by an unstoppable bowling attack. With the exception of Obaid Ur Rehman who scored a solid half century under pressure, none of the other batsmen were able to effectively contribute. Waseem Ali took an outstanding 5 wickets while Arif Yaqoob took 2 and Shahid Mirani picked up a wicket. Frontier Gymkhana ended at a low 104 for 9 in 20 overs.
Despite not batting too well either, Bilal Associates managed to pull through in their match against Frontier Gymkhana and beat them in 18.2 overs for the loss of 6 wickets thanks to a handy cameo of 26 by Waseem Ali. The clear star of the day. Frontier Gymkhana did well to fight back a Muhammad Hammad took 2 wickets while Bilal Khan, Saeed Hussain and Obaid Ur Rehman took one wicket.
