Wonder boys beat Alpha CC in a thrilling finish that went down to the last over winning by the tiniest of margins, 2 runs.
Batting first Wonder boys innings was led by Sheraz Rana who scored 78 (39) which included 6 fours and 6 towering sixes. His partnership with Saad (30) set the tone platform for their innings and ended with 177/7 in 20 overs.
Chasing 178 in a final was always going to be difficult for Alpha CC but with steady innings by Syed Inam Agha (31), Faizan and Arsal made sure they were in the game. Late cameo's by Talha Iqbal and Fahad Saleem almost got them through but run outs at crucial moments hurt their chances of winning the cup, eventually losing by only 2 runs.
