Abu Bakar XI and Zahid and Sons faced each other at Naya Nazimabad ground and Sunny Kaka with 13 runs and Ghayas with 18 runs got Abu Bakar XI off to a good start. Ali JR with 20 runs and Fahad Hussain with 29 runs furthered the cause before Danish Naveed was out for 12 runs but the lower order batsmen got out cheaply and the whole team lost 8 wickets in quick succession and ended at just 126 runs. For Zahid and Sons, Naqi took 3 wickets and Amjad and Arshad got 2 wickets each.
In reply, chasing a low score, Aqib with 34 and Sheraz with 13 got Zahid and Sons off to a good start with some meticulous batting. Naveed with an unbeaten 38 off 33 deliveries at a strike rate of 115% and Kamran with an unbeaten 10 ensured their team won comfortably in the end for the loss of just 3 wickets and with more than 3 overs to spare. For Abu Bakar XI, all 3 wickets were taken by Hasan who was the lone fighter from the bowling side and he bowled a very good spell of 4 overs and conceded only 17 runs in his spell.
Zahid and Sons won by 7 wickets.
