Zahid and Sons put on a cricket masterclass against Edge XI, beating them by thirty runs at the Landhi Gymkhana.
Aaqib Zafar gave his team the winning start by scoring 82 from 48 in the opening. Even though the rest of the batting order paled in comparison, the damage had been done by Zahid and Sons thanks to Aaqib. The team made 164 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Babar Zafar took three wickets while Usman Butt and Muhammad Kamran took one.
Edge Xi struggled to start off well but gained some steam in the middle as Raheel made 50 from 33 and Abdul Salam made 30 from 32. Unfortunately, they were only able to make 134 in 20 overs. Kamran Ahmed and Amjad Ahmed dealt the biggest blow to Edge by taking three wickets each while Syed A.Wali took two and Arham Younus took one.
