Zenith Associates beat Bilal Associates by six wickets at the Eastern Star Ground this week.
Bilal Associates batted first and some tremendous batting from Ahmed Hussain (59 from 32) and Babar Malik (51 from 43) and Ali Iqbal (42 from 36) they were able to put on a competitive total of 185 in 20 overs for the loss of four wickets. Mohib Ahsan took three wickets while Naimat Khan Afridi took one.
Zenith Associates chased the target in 19.3 overs for the loss of four wickets. Despite a poor opening performance, they more than made up for it with 23 from 20 by Kamil Mehmood, 44 from 34 by Mohib Ahsan (not out) and 86 from 41 by Muqarram Waheed Khan also not out. Waseem Ali took two wickets while Bilal Khan and Saqib Khan took one.
