Nisum Software House came in to bat first & were off to a flyer. They managed to loose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a high rate. Akhlaq Khan & Sarim Javaid put up a partnership of 50+ runs. Akhlaq Khan scored a quick fire 36 off 29 deliveries. Sarim Javaid played a solid knock of 39 runs off 35 deliveries. The bowlers then made their comeback once the partnership was broken. The bowlers started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order completely collapsed as the bowlers dominated the batsmen. Osama Ikhlas came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 24 runs off 13 deliveries. Syed Asher Ali, Abdullah Soomro & Sohaib Zaman managed to pick up a couple of wickets each. Nisum Software House posted a total of 133 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Pak Qatar Family Takaful came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start loosing 2 wickets early on. They still managed to score at a healthy rate as Syed Asher Ali & Umair Karim put up a crucial partnership of 50+ runs. Syed Asher Ali played a fiery innings of 32 runs off 23 deliveries. Umair Karim scored a run a ball 26. The bowlers then made their comeback & started picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as the batsmen seemed to find no answers to such dominant bowling. Shahzad Latif was the lone warrior who stayed out their till the end. He scored a fighting 27 off 22 balls but it wasn’t enough. Asadullah Khan was unplayable & he ripped through the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. Zain Ahmed managed to pickup 3 wickets as well. Akhlaq Khan also picked up a couple of wickets. Pak Qatar Family Takaful were bowled out for 122 runs in 17.1 overs.
