Meezan Bank came in to bat first & were off to a solid start. They managed to lose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a healthy rate. Ahmed Baig played a solid knock of 42 runs off 31 deliveries. Farhan Shah scored 19 off 23. Omer Abdul Rehman & Abdul Basit then put up a decent partnership. Omer Abdul Rehman scored 22 off 21 & Abdul Basit scored run a ball 23. Noman Bhatti came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 23 runs off 11 deliveries. Asad Shabbir, Noman Shaikh, Wamiq Zubair, Arsalan Abdul Majeed & Anas Yousuf managed to pickup a wicket each. Meezan Bank posted a total of 148 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Midas Safety came in to chase down this target & were off to a shaky start. Loosing only 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Asim Chandio scored 29 runs off 32 deliveries. Faizan Shakeel scored 17 off 11. Rizwan Hussain contributed with his 11 as well. Akram Khanb managed to chip in with his 17 off 16. The bowlers then made their comeback & started to pick up wickets at quick successions. The bowlers completely dominated the second half of the innings to allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Ahmed Baig & Zia Ul Hasan were unplayable as they picked up 3 wickets each. Ayub Baig managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Midas Safety were bowled out for 110 runs in 18.3 overs.
