Numbers win a high scoring encounter

Samba Bank Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Clayton D’Souza & Aasim Shabir were hitting every ball from the middle of the bat. The duo gave their team a fiery start. Clayton D’Souza was dismissed after scoring 49 runs off 37 deliveries. Aasim Shabir played a sublime knock of 66 runs off 48 deliveries. Muhammad Zahid came in & batted with the same positive intent. Who took the bowlers to thw cleaners as he played a cameo of 48 runs off just 27 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets toward the end of the innings. Ayub Khan was absolutely unplayable as he was the only successful bowler. He managed to pickup 4 wickets but his efforts went in vain as the rest of the bowlers went for plenty. Samba Bank Warriors posted a total of 191 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

Numbers came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. They lost 2 wickets early on in the chase but they didn’t let that dent their intent. They played positive cricket as Rasheed Ahmed & Khalil Ahmed put up a partnership of 50+ runs setting the platform for the rest of the batting lineup. Rasheed Ahmed played a fiery innings of 77 runs off just 32 deliveries hitting every bowler out of the attack. His innings consisted of 6 towering sixes & 7 boundaries. Khalil Ahmed on the other hand anchored the innings. Waqar Ahmed came in towards the back end of the innings & upped the anti. He played a sublime knock of 53 runs off just 22 deliveries alongside Khalil Ahmed who scored 36 runs off 28 deliveries. Yousuf Bhatti managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it was too little too late.
