Shan Foods were bowled out for a modest 136 in 18.5 overs. Adeel Abid Shamsi top-scored with 40 off 30, and Ubaid Khan made 35 off 23 at the top of the order, but the innings lacked a big partnership. Ali Abrar (19 off 14) and Danish Farooqi (11 off 12) provided some resistance lower down, but wickets fell regularly throughout. IBEX Knights’ bowling was disciplined, with Sameer taking 3/10 in 3 overs, Shayan Khan claiming 3/13, and Hassan Alvi picking up 3/20 to dismiss Shan Foods well inside 20 overs.
IBEX Knights chased down the 137-run target with remarkable ease, reaching 142/1 in just 14.5 overs to win by 9 wickets. Shah Hussain anchored the chase beautifully with an unbeaten 58 off 45 (6 fours, 2 sixes), while Muhammad Rauf Khan smashed 50 off 32 (3 fours, 4 sixes) before being dismissed. Hussain Merchant (26* off 12) finished the job in style. None of Shan Foods’ bowlers could take more than 1 wicket, with the lone breakthrough coming from Adeel Abid Shamsi.
IBEX Knights won by 9 wickets in a comprehensive victory, with their bowlers and batters both performing well above Shan Foods’ level on the day.
