Zamzam Sports Vs ZMCC
Shahid Mukhtar and Kareb Ahmed started off the match on behalf of Zamzam Sports in the first against the ZMCC. Both of the players were looking sharp with the bat and played some beautiful shots to give their team a decent start. Shahid Mukhtar scored 29 runs and Kareb Ahmed scored 14 runs. Muhammad Faizan Khan came in at number 5 and played an extraordinary innings of 42 runs just off 29 balls. Shoaib Ibrahim and Danish Moeen proved to be a disaster for the batting side, because both of them picked up crucial wickets. Shoaib Ibrahim picked up 4 wickets and Danish Moeen picked up 2 wickets. The entire Zamzam Sports batting line up was dismantled in 20 overs at a total of 145 runs.
ZMCC were off to a disappointing start with their opening pair in the second innings of the match, when Sohail Afzal and Syed Sami Ullah were not able to give them a good head start in the game. Sohail Afzal went down after scoring only 7 runs and Syed Sami Ullah went down after scoring 11 runs. Both of the players fell victim to the vicious bowling attack of Shiraz Raza who picked up 3 wickets. Muhammad Zahid came in at number 3 and scored only 15 runs which weren’t of any help at this point in the game. They needed big runs to get them somewhere near the chase. Muhammad Faizan Khan was the player with the ball to dismiss Muhammad Zahid and three other batsmen in the game. Mubasshir Ahmed was the last player to score 19 runs and that was just about it. None of the batsmen were able to get their hands on big runs and get their team somewhere safe. Instead they lost all of their wickets in 13 overs at a total of 84 runs.
Zamzam Sports won by 61 runs.
