Revolution Star Vs Proud Pakistan C.C
Revolution Star batted first and were off to a flying start, when both openers played an outstanding innings, looking forward on setting a huge target for the opposition. The bowlers couldn’t find a way to strike them down and put an end to their reign of terror. Asif scored a brilliant 83 runs just off 38 balls with a magnificent strike rate of 218.42, which was huge. On the other hand, Sohail backed him up and scored 44 runs off 31 balls. After their dismissal Raheel came in at number three and continued the reign of terror with his decent knock of 27 runs. Furqan was the last man to make an actual impact on the scoreboard with his knock of 29 runs. Soon after his dismissal the remaining batting order failed on getting their hands on big runs. But that was not an issue for their side, for the top order had done their part and set a huge total. At the end of 20 overs Revolution Star had scored a total of 227 runs. Sadaqat Ali was the highest wicket take from his side with 2 wickets to his name.
Proud Pakistan C.C knew from the beginning that this was not going to be a stroll in the park for them. The chase was a challenging one and the openers responded in a favorable manner that seemed as if they were off to a good start. Faheem Bilwani scored 18 runs and Touseef Rafiq scored 37 runs. The opening pair of bowlers made sure from the start that they contained the opposition from picking up pace in the game and getting off to a good chase. Zain and Saleem Ali were there to ensure that and both of them picked up 2 and 3 wickets respectively. Naveed Ahmed and Zahid Pathan carried a 74 runs partnership and that was the last star performance from their side. Rest of the batting order was brutally murdered by the bowlers. Proud Pakistan C.C were limited to a total of 176 runs by the end of 20 overs.
