Zamzam Sports batted first and were off to a rocking start, opener Syed Muhammad Tahami scored 42 just off 32 balls. His partner Aqib Junaid however scored a bit less but was decent an addition to the scoreboard with his 20 run knock. Kamran was the third man in and he scored 25 runs for the team. Later, Muhammad Faizan Khan took the reins with an impressive knock of 43 runs. Benitoz Panthers bowlers were helpless against the opposition, unable to pick wickets at key times or stop the flow of runs. Uzair Saleem was the highest wicket taker with 2 wickets to his name. Zamzam Sports posted a target of 172 in 20 overs.
Benitoz Panthers openers got their team off to a flying start in their chase with Tabish and Hamza Ali Khan leading from the front. The duo scored a combined 112 runs before they were finally dismissed. With the foundation set however, there was little the remaining batsmen had to do and a minor contribution of 21 runs by Sumail Aziz sealed the deal for his side. Zamzam Sports bowlers Shahid Mukhtar and Shiraz Raza fought hard against the opposition, picking up 3 and 2 wickets each helping to limit the flow of runs. The Panthers just managed to level the scores and the match ended in an unexpected tie. Absolutely unbelievable!
