Lal Qila Cricket Club batted first and were off a very slow with their opening pair. M. Umair went down after scoring only 9 runs followed by M. Asif who scored 11 runs. Talha Butt was the star bowler from his side who gave a tough time to the opposition right from the start, with his amazing bowling spell of 3 overs, picking up 3 wickets while giving away only 16 runs. M. Imran and M. Owais gave their side a sigh of relief with their brilliant partnership of 56 runs, followed by M. Ali’s contribution of 27 runs to the total. Rest of the batting order faced a huge retaliation from the bowling side and weren’t able to score much. At the end of 20 overs, Lal Qila Cricket Club had secured a total of 159 runs.

Alliance Sports were off to a relatively better start compared to Lal Qila, but Khuraam Rangiila did disappoint his side after losing his wicket for a single run. M. Nasir was the man with the ball to take an early wicket in the match and later on he got another wicket to his name. But that didn’t stop the batsmen from playing their game. Faisal Ghouri gave a decent start after scoring 28 runs. Talha Butt did not only perform well with the ball but he also rocked with the bat. He was all over the place with his absolutely amazing performance. Talha Butt scored a magnificent 92 runs that brought his side very close to the victory and it was M. Nasir who put an end to his reign of terror. Jawed Basini added the required numbers to the total that brought Alliance Sports the victory with his knock of 22 runs. Alliance sports were able to chase down the target in 19.1 overs.
