Midman batted first and were off to a good start. Their openers, Uzair Ansari and Kashif Ullah were in good form and scored some useful runs at the top. Uzair scored 25 off 21 balls whereas Kashif scored 14 off 14. Once they were dismissed, Shoukat came in and took the score forward and played a valuable innings for his side. He did not get much support from the other end, as Midman kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shoukat scored 41 off 36 balls with 2 fours. The bowlers did a good job and restricted the lower order from scoring freely. Both Arsalan and Fahad picked up 2 wickets each and at a good economy. Midman posted a modest 133 in their 20 overs.

Gulshan Stars were not chasing the biggest score but still they had to bat well to get over the line. They did not get the ideal start and lost wickets at the early stages of the innings. Mohammad Noman then came in and provided some resistance to the innings, he batted well for his 35 off 19 balls but he was the lone warrior as he kept losing his partners from the other end. The bowlers had a tight grip on the match and they did not let the match slip from their grasp. Pervez Ali was the most impressive bowler as he picked up 4 wickets whereas Fahim supported him and picked up 3. In the end, Gulshan Stars managed to score just 110 and they fell short by 23 runs.
