Eagles CC v Karachi Stallions
Things could not have gone any better for Eagles CC who batted first. Their opening duo of Rehan Nazim and Madni Waqas were off to a flyer, scoring 62 and 68 runs respectively. Abdul Samad Ghani did eventually manage to dismiss the pair but it was too little, too late. With the foundation set and the damage done, there was little for the remaining batsmen to do. Minor contributions helped boost their team's target to 188 in 20 overs.
Karachi Stallions were outdone by an incredible display of bowling. The team struggled with the bat, losing wickets in regular intervals, unable to gain any momentum. Cavish Farrukh and Umer Chawla struck with the ball, taking 3 and 4 wickets to dismantle the batting side. Faizan Shaikh also took 2 wickets. Stallions were never able to recover and despite a fighting knock of 40 runs by Owais Ahmed, they fell short of the target. Karachi Stallions were bowled out for 148 runs in 18 overs.
Eagles CC won by 40 runs.
