Pak Star Vs Karachi Star
Pak Star batted first against the Karachi Star and were off to a flying start. Both openers were in top form and played some beautiful cricket. Kamal scored a wonderful 58 runs, followed by Razaib Khan’s 18 runs knock. Ahmed was the furious and brutal bowler from his side to take down Kamal and 2 other batsmen later on in the innings. Hassan scored 20 runs, which was a decent addition to the scoreboard or his team. Tanveer scored 23 runs and unfortunately he was the last batsman to score some decent runs for the team. Rest of the batting order was brutally dismantled by the bowling attack, from which Ali, Danial and Taha all took 2 wickets each. This restricted the Pak Star’s at a total of 151 runs in 20 overs.
Karachi Star were looking for an early after their brilliant performance with the ball in the first innings. Farhad was the first man in at the striker’s end played a marvelous innings, to give his team a great head start in the chase with his knock of 46 runs. Then came in Ahmed, at number four and scored another 46 runs which were a valuable addition to the chase, keeping in mind that 2 of his fellow batsmen were brutally dismissed before him. Ahad was the lucky bowler to take him down, and got 3 wickets to his name later on in the match. Fahim scored 20 runs and in the end it was Abdullah and Saad who played the match winning partnership of 23 runs. They chased the target in 17.1 overs and enjoyed victory.
