TRG Vs United Energy Pakistan
TRG were off to a magnificent start in the first innings, with Mohsin Khan and Junaid Ahmed leading from the front. Both of the batsmen were in top form and played some great shots. Mohsin Khan scored 71 runs, while Junaid Ahmed scored 26 runs because he had to sit this one down because of an injury, else he would’ve also scored big runs for his team. Arsal Ali scored 13 runs and lost his wicket to Arshad Kashif who got 2 wickets to his name. Syed Asad Ali also played some really good strokes and scored 48 runs for his team. At the end of 20 overs, TRG had successfully secured a decent target of 201 runs.
United Energy Pakistan weren’t looking good with the bat, and were continuously banged with an awesome bowling attack right from the start of the second innings. Sabih Ahmed and Syed Asad Ali did not give the batting side any cushion to score big runs. We only saw Sumair Sarwar and Saim Saeed scored 17 and 15 runs respectively. Rest of the batsmen were bowled out under 10 runs. In 18.2 overs, the entire team was dismissed at a total of 98 runs.
TRG won by 103 runs.
